Brewing story into every design
A collaborative creative partnership with Grimm Brothers Brewhouse, crafting content, branding, and storytelling for community events, beer releases, and more.
Grimm Brothers Brewhouse is Loveland’s oldest brewery, known for German-inspired beers and branding that draws from the dark charm of Brothers Grimm folklore. With a strong foundation built by Tenfold Collective, the brand already had a distinct identity, but it needed fresh creative execution that stayed true to its roots.
As a freelance marketing consultant and content creator, I was brought on to help carry that creative thread across everything visual: from social media to product photography to full event campaigns. Every design decision was made to preserve the magic of the brand while creating new energy around its releases, taproom experiences, and community events.
✳ THE CHALLENGE

Bring consistency, energy, and storytelling to a beloved local brand
Grimm Brothers had a strong look and loyal following, but needed ongoing support to bring that identity to life in fresh ways across digital, print, and in-person experiences. From seasonal beer releases to high-energy taproom events, every touchpoint needed to feel consistent with the brand’s unique tone: bold, slightly mischievous, and unmistakably Grimm.
The creative challenge was twofold:
Maintain brand continuity while introducing new visuals, themes, and formats
Create community-focused content that inspired in-person engagement and social sharing
✳ THE SOLUTION
I worked with the team at Grimm Brothers to create cohesive, energetic assets that elevated the brand and engaged their audience across multiple touchpoints. This included:
Social media graphics and assets for recurring and seasonal campaigns
Product and event photography
Promotional posters and printed collateral
Logo design and sub-brand development for new initiatives
Strategic content and creative design rooted in brand storytelling
✳ FEATURED PROJECTS
To relaunch one of Grimm Brothers' most beloved community events, I created a full visual campaign that captured the chaotic brilliance of the Brewlympics—featuring keg curling, flip cup, and the infamous yard-of-beer challenge.
Designed the event logo, signage, and social assets
Created a teaser video featuring a local legend in metallic gold sneakers sprinting to area breweries
Captured the event through on-site photography that matched the tone and energy of the experience
The playful branding and content helped build excitement before the event and drove strong taproom turnout, while the event photography became a lasting asset for future promotion.
✳ FEATURED PROJECT
THE DUDE ABIDES BEER AND
CHOCOLATE PAIRING EVENT PROMOTION
Chocolate, beer, and a rug that ties it all together.
For the 2021 release of The Dude Abides, Grimm Brothers partnered with Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to host a beer-and-chocolate tasting inspired by The Big Lebowski. I designed:
A bold, cinematic poster
Tasting sheets with flavor notes and pairing info featuring themed props like Hollywood Lanes napkins
A styled photo series featuring iconic visual cues from the film
The event drew high interest online and in person, with over 40 RSVPs via Facebook and strong taproom turnout. The cohesive visuals helped turn a simple tasting into an immersive themed experience.
✳ FEATURED PROJECT
THE IRON STOVE KITCHEN BRANDING
Branding a new chapter in German-inspired food
When Grimm Brothers added a kitchen to their taproom, they needed a sub-brand that felt like a natural extension of their visual identity. I developed:
A new logo for The Iron Stove
Product photography for menu items like bratwurst, pretzels, and spaetzle
Social media headers and posts
Custom coasters with QR codes for digital menu access
The Iron Stove launch added depth to the brewery’s in-person experience and gave them another point of engagement for marketing, signage, and social content.
✳ THE OUTCOME
A cohesive brand experience that strengthened community connection
Through consistent creative execution and strategic storytelling, I helped Grimm Brothers bring new energy to their existing brand—one post, poster, and pint at a time. Each project maintained the heart of the original identity while expanding what it could be.
From cheeky gold-shoed races to richly styled beer pairings, every design helped reinforce what makes Grimm Brothers memorable: great beer, great stories, and a community that shows up for both.
